Contrast

Contrast paints can help you to basecoat, shade and highlight your model at the same time. They stain the model with colour and trickle into recesses, whilst being thinner on raised details.

Contrast paints are great for painting to a Battle Ready standard, and can have further highlights added to them by hand later if you wish to upgrade them to a Parade Ready standard. They are great for painting big armies quickly, whilst still looking breathtakingly detailed on the battlefield.
